Catavento joins high-level debates on perspectives to energy sector
In 2020, Catavento was responsible for coordinating the publication – “Energy: reflections and perspectives”. The document, developed in partnership with the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI) and the law firm BMA Advogados, includes the view and analysis of 21 experts in 12 different articles. The multiplicity of authors in the publication reflects the diversity of the Brazilian energy sector, which is rich and abundant in energy sources.
During the months of June and July, CEBRI and Catavento organized two events, that aimed to discuss the main topics covered in the publication, as well as analyze the impacts of Covid-19 in the energy sector.
The first event, held on June 3, was in Portuguese and counted on the participation of the authors Jorge Camargo, Vice Chairman of CEBRI’s Board of Trustees, Luis Henrique Guimarães, CEO at Cosan, José Firmo, CEO at Porto do Açu (PdA), and Carlos Frederico Bingemer, partner in the areas of Corporate Law, O&G and Energy at BMA Advogados. Clarissa Lins, founding partner at Catavento, moderated the debate that focused on the geopolitics of energy, the biofuels sector in Brazil, and the opportunities in the supply chain of the Brazilian O&G industry.
