Between March 7th and 11th, 2022, CERAWeek, the most important event in the global energy sector, took place in Houston, United States. Organized by S&P Global, the Conference had more than 6,000 participants, who discussed various themes relevant to the sector. Among the main topics are: the impacts of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, energy transition and security and advances in low carbon technologies (e.g.: hydrogen, carbon capture, usage and storage (CCUS), batteries).

Clarissa Lins, founding partner of Catavento, participated as a speaker in a panel about the competitiveness of natural gas in Latin America. The panel also included the participation of Andre Cangucu, Managing Director of ENGIE, Gustavo Baquero, Senior Vice President of E&P at Equinor and Santiago Martinez Tanoira, Executive Vice President Gas & Power at YPF.
