In 2017, the partnership between Catavento and Ipiranga aimed to work on the future of mobility, taking into consideration the impacts of climate change, new technologies, and national energy policies. To do so, Catavento mapped global trends and Brazilian particularities under this new scenario.
Ipiranga has more than 7,000 gas stations, consolidating itself as one of the major fuel and lubrificant distributers in Brazil. During its 80 years of history, the company aimed to differentiate itself from competitors by diversifying its products and services in the retail, e-commerce, and specialized automotives services markets. The ecoefficient stations, Carbon Zero Program, as well as many social and environmental programs developed by the company demonstrate the relevance of sustainability issues for the business.
