The Project
Amazon Bulletin Project
Considering the hosting of COP30 in the Amazon and its implications for companies operating or seeking to operate in the region, Catavento was hired by the Fundo Vale to create quarterly Climate and Amazon Intelligence bulletins. The bulletins aimed to map and analyze the main studies, news, and events related to the topics and the scope of action of Fundo Vale.
The analyses were categorized into five themes: climate urgency, innovation and technology, public policies, corporate leadership and inspiring initiatives, and investors and the financial sector. Throughout the year, various topics essential for companies operating in the Amazon were addressed, such as the expansion of carbon markets, the challenges and opportunities for strengthening the bioeconomy, prospects for restoration and reforestation, and the importance of dialogue with local populations.
After the preparation of each bulletin, Catavento held meetings with the Fundo Vale team to present the key highlights of the material, creating a space for idea exchange and constructive discussions among the participants.
The bulletins are being used as a tool for engagement and mobilization for Vale employees and for companies in the Cubo Itaú Ecosystem on climate and Amazon issues.
In total, four bulletins were produced, all of which are public and available on the Fundo Vale website [here].
