The Project

Catavento Consultoria was hired by B3 in April 2019 to assist the company in its strategic repositioning in sustainability. The first stage of the project involved the engagement of the company’s leadership, in order to map existing initiatives in the sustainability agenda, the perception of value generated for the business, challenges and gaps to be improved.

In a second step, an analysis of global trends in sustainability for the financial sector was conducted, including challenges and opportunities for B3. Furthermore, Catavento carried out a benchmark analysis of the performance of 04 global stock exchanges, including business strategies and sustainability priorities.

Finally, Catavento suggested a strategic repositioning, based on ambition, focus of action and priority initiatives for the sustainability strategy, with a focus on generating value for the business and aligning with the company’s strategic priorities.
